Background

The need for this summit has never been more urgent. Four major Chinese state-sponsored APT groups—Volt Typhoon, Salt Typhoon, Flax Typhoon, and Brass Typhoon—are already targeting and embedding themselves inside U.S. critical infrastructure networks. With over 80% of critical infrastructure privately owned, cyber threats in these sectors pose national risks, and defending them requires unified, real-time collaboration between sectors, private companies and federal, state, and local governments.

Billington will once again bring together the most senior leaders across government, industry, and investment to discuss ways to strengthen defenses, build resilience, and deter adversaries who fully understand how a single weakness can cascade across the entire economy.

Are there citizenship requirements for Summit registration?

Yes. Billington CyberSecurity Summits are only open to citizens of the United States and citizens of US Allied Nations. Confirmation of citizenship status is required during registration and corresponding government-issued photo identification will be required onsite prior to entry. Is there a special block of discounted rooms for the Critical Infrastructure Summit?

Yes. Billington has reserved a block of discounted rooms at the Grand Hyatt. The hotel is conveniently located adjacent to the Convention Center and is a 12–15 minute ride from the airport. The hotel does not provide transportation, so a shared ride/taxi is suggested for an approximate cost of $22–$35.

How much are flights to San Antonio?

Flight costs vary depending on the flight’s origin, booking time, flight times, and whether it is nonstop or connecting. We suggest attendees book their flights 2–3 months ahead which often saves 20–40% versus booking within a few weeks. Southwest, American, Delta, and United all serve San Antonio, with Southwest often offering competitive pricing from many U.S. cities.
